Early Morning.
Better things are to come.
Just woke up, and made some coffee.
You know, I think I've received a boon from my deity, suddenly I feel inspired and motivated to do things: I've been trying to get back into reading, also feel like learning Russian again, I studied a bit of Computer Architecture last night (because upcoming exam🐱), and today I feel like practicing competitive programming and beginning to port my game Clite into Java.
... So, about the compititve programming- I signed up for a tournament(06/06/2026). I don't know jack-diddly shit about competitive programming, beyond the basic concept of "complete coding challenges within limited time". I, naturally, signed up for the Initial Level, because It'd be terrible if I, out of hubris, sign up for the Advanced Level- and end up getting fucked because I'm not up to that league.
Right now I'm on the process of practicing some Java- since I'll definitely be needing some skill on this language to port [Clite] properly.
I'm coding a simple terminal-based game on Java as of now, figuring out the best program structure for the menu, game and configuration screen. I'm not gonna make as many mistakes as before, I'll take my time to arrange things right. I hope I can stick to this project long enough to see it come to life.
The day after tomorrow I have a competitive programming tournament to attend- just today I arranged my team (2 other random people I got by sending a collective e-mail to all participants). I guess tomorrow will be spent preparing for it, and the day after we'll see how it goes -w-
