Competitive Programming.

"I wouldn't say I'm a competitive person"
- Technoblade.

Today, I participated on a Competitive Programming Tournament.🐱

The results were far from ideal, my team(composed of 3 idiots, including me) ended up on 4th place (tied with several other teams, because ranking system was weird). The number of problems to solve were like, 8 or 12, can't remember, we had 4 hours, and we only solved 2 (because my teammates kept pressuring me on skipping problems every time we'd get stuck on a bug). But, I think I learned some things: I figured that, communication was the biggest factor on success, I also acquired some experience on how competitive programming works, I had fun, and I got some free food during the event -w-

I had already made this realization before, while playing volleyball, but this event reminded me of it: despite being an anxious person, I am quite competitive. I enjoy doing activities which require skill, and have a challenge of some sort (like surpassing opponents). I fucking loved it, and I'm rn checking on the internet the solution to some of the problems which I didn't manage to figure out on the competition, because I just have this itch to finally solve them.

Anyway, not much more to say. Just that, I'm definitely gonna be using this trick to get my ass to do something🐱
I'm gonna be looking for more tournaments to join, and maybe also participate on a hackathon or some shit -w-
